Peach Chutney
Ingredients
2.5kg yellow peaches
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 teaspoon ginger
2 tablespoons salt
2kg onions
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon cumin
4 cups white vinegar
750g sugar
2 teaspoons coriander
Method
Place the spices in vinegar and bring to a boil.
Stir in sugar, salt, curry powder, and cumin.
Peel the peaches and cut them into pieces.
Slice the onions and add everything to the vinegar mixture.
Boil rapidly for 20 minutes.
Bottle while hot and seal.
Remember to remove the whole cloves before serving.
