Grandma’s Chocolate / Vanilla Cake
Ingredients
4 Eggs
2 Cups sugar
2 Cups flour
1/2 Teaspoon salt
5 Tablespoons cocoa
1 Cup milk
4 Tablespoons oil
2 Teaspoons baking powder
1 Teaspoon vanilla
Exclude Cocoa powder to make a Vanilla Cake
Method
Beat the eggs until frothy.
Gradually add sugar and beat until creamy.
Sift flour, salt, and cocoa together.
Heat milk and oil together until very warm.
Gently fold the milk mixture into the sugar mixture.
Sprinkle baking powder over the batter and add vanilla.
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 180°C (356°F).
