Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 125g Butter

  • 1 and 1/2 Cups sugar

  • 3 Eggs

  • 5ml Vanilla extract

  • 1 Cup mashed bananas

  • 2 Cups cake flour

  • 2 Teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/4 Teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 Teaspoon salt

  • 2 Tablespoons milk

Method

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light in color.

  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  3. Stir in vanilla extract and fold in mashed bananas.

  4. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.

  5. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 1 hour.

  6. You can also add 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts if desired.
